Music Inventory Interesting... Jazdoc, can you use the scanner for vinyl? Is that only good for recent production albums, or are barcodes unique from the 50/60/70/80s?Can you please expand on the process? I use excel currently, but am finding it to be a pain.Cheers
Shindo pre w/ Quicksiler amps a good match I owned the Verity Parsifals for 7yrs, now have the Sarastros, used the Masseto and the Corton Charlemagne 80s with the Parsifals... worked very, very well. Contact me if you go that way. I do agree that you can use another amp as well, but if you...
AN Kondo IO-m cartridge - Tonearms to cons Listening to it right now on a Graham... I am blown away. Is it the Kondo step up or the cartridge, I have no idea. But the presentation/soundstage is huge, involving and nothing seems to be missing or misrepresented. Great bass, great timbre and ...
AN Kondo IO-m cartridge - Tonearms to cons Nandric... so you kept the Phase Tech and found magic in the combo with the Reed arm? I have to say, I've never heard of the Reed arm, but that doesn't mean much.Thank you, will look into it (site doesn't seem to have a dealer/distributor list)
AN Kondo IO-m cartridge - Tonearms to cons Thanks Raul. I have a Graham Phantom (Dynavector XV1-S on it), so this would be a second arm/setup. Will also get an SPU one day for fun, so would be great if the second arm could handle that.Ikeda woud be great, but would only buy from someone I ...
AN Kondo IO-m cartridge - Tonearms to cons Title should read "Consider", not "Cons". THx
Speakers for the ears, eyes, and for the decade Ken, will do, but want to get my Stratos in first. Thanks
Shindo Reliability Live a little... 2 yrs, away from the core dealers, no issues, no worries. Go for it. You can eat McD every day, it'll taste the same, guaranteed consistency, but you might want steak medium rare....
Speakers for the ears, eyes, and for the decade John - I wanted to go up the Stealth line at first, but decided against it after a little bit of exploring. I'm generally going to all siltech and shindo ICs, using stock power cords on most, and shunyata for speaker cables. I am wondering what po...
Dynavector XV1-S and step-up Lewm: thanks, yes saw it. Very interesting, seems like he liked a few better (A23 Hommage and the AN, I believe), but found it to be great with the Miyabi (which is .3mv, 2ohms). Dynavector is .35mv, 6ohms. Sounds pretty close to me.
Speakers for the ears, eyes, and for the decade John: will keep you posted on the experience of the Stratos. Which Orion did you try, the recent version. My understanding is that Shunyata has really made strides in their cables, but that's just hearsay. I will say that the Shunyata Orion I trie...
Dynavector XV1-S and step-up Lewm: Again, I'm actually very happy with the Shindo phono (its right in the middle of the range). I only posted to see if an SUT would make me happier. Don't mean to repeat myself but I'm just exploring. I may try SUTs and phonos and it all ends ...
Dynavector XV1-S and step-up Lewm: I have been listening to my internal phono for 2yrs... just FYI, b/c it seems some are thinking I just got it. I've been listening extensively for some time, and it sounds pretty damn good. Just trying to optimize/explore further. The key qu...
Speakers for the ears, eyes, and for the decade Thanks guys. Am going with the Shunyata Stratos. Was very impressed.Cheers
Dynavector XV1-S and step-up If I may, let's move on from the Shindo discussions. For the record, I love my Shindo gear - it's something special. I appreciate the input thus far, but don't want to get off track. Now, back to the question on SUTs and Dynavector XV1-S...Right no... |
