Wharfedale Lintons ... Any great amp pairings?
I found the Lintons  bad value for the money. Maybe I got a lemon.
OK, who is buying one?
so it was designed by John Ive? Well, he is probably the most pretentious BS artist I can think of but he is good at it. That's why it's 60K.
Buying Used Equipment on the Internet
everyone has to start from zero reviews and any seller can go rouge after many positive reviews. If the seller refuses to show the equipment, even in a parking lot, I wouldn't bother. The desire to look at expensive, decade+ old equipment is not t...

Buying Used Equipment on the Internet
I bought and sold a several components on usaudiomart. It's about communication, you pretty much have to figure out if the person on the other end is trustworthy. Ask some questions that aren't realistic but the responses will be telling: "I will...
Why is solid state more popular when tubes are better?
how about "do cables make a difference?"
Is simpler better?
the irony is that the end goal is simple: to move air. Expensive gear is very complex and audiophiles put together a lot of complex components to achieve something pure and yet relative, judged by our ears. I would say unless you are willing to le...

@ronboco  many people here can hardly hear or see. They won't decode contact info, they are happy they can read what's on the screen.
