Dynaudio C4 speaker equipment matching
Good sound is all about making the room sound good. Your equipment is fine
pixelization?
As the others have said, what you are experiencing is compression from the cable signal.Pop in a blu ray - and you won't see any of this, regardless of how fast the motion is on the screen.
Dynaudio Contour S5.4 or Confidence C2
"I am leaning towards the C2 based on the response so far."If you are happy with the bass response of the 3.3, the C2 could work.I would avoid the S5.4 with your room size, for sure. Too much bass output. Is an in home audition a possibility?
Can you buy a VPI tonearm base ??
Why did you complain about service?VPI has great service in my experience...
Dynaudio Contour S5.4 or Confidence C2
13' x 15' room?Honestly, I am really surprised that you are getting good results with the 3.3. Do you not have major bass problems in your room?I had S1.4s in a 14 x 16 foot room, and they were great, but completely overpowered the room in the bass.
Simaudio I-7 or Pass INT-150
Both sim and pass make great sounding stuff... you've already got the Supernova, might as well keep it sim.
Emotiva Amps
Hello... there are plenty of less experienced users at many audio forum sites including Audioholics... however, let's not dilute the subject of this thread with irrelevant things.Emotiva makes great stuff and they are basically the cheapest play o...
Will ARC VT-100 drive Dynaudio C-1's
Agree with Casouza. For the C1, use a high current, high quality SS amplifier.
How to order Wally Tools...
Elizabeth - Why would you even post that? "Go Wally!!!!" What purpose would that have other than to pour salt in peoples wounds?"the right business model for himself."Well, add me to the list of people who tried to buy a Wally Tractor a couple yea...
Size matters Smaller that is
Aside from generalizations... maybe the Guarneri is just the better speaker?I haven't heard the best SF speakers, but the ones that I have heard have sounded closed in and boxy (cremona, GP, Concerto). Warmth at the expense of clarity
Krell Power Consumption
and now you've moved on to the cheap integrated...
Clueless Analog Newbie, Looking to Buy
If you are serious about this, as others on this thread have said, you probably want to save up around $2k to make this a good experience from you. Even then, if you don't have someone there helping setup the table, etc, it is likely to be an exer...
Dynaudio Audience 52SE vs. Contour S1.4
The 52SE is a great speaker. With that being said, the Contour S1.4 is much, MUCH better. I used to own the S1.4, and swapped A/B back to the 52SE in extensive auditions, same systems, when I was deciding. What you will get with the S1.4 is much de...
Moon i3.3 vs Plinius 9100
Either one. Both good picks for Dynaudio.
Rel Stadium ll vs Rel Strata lll
The stadium is way more sub than you need for a 12 x 15 room. I would go for the Strata hands down in that space.
