What are the smallest speakers that are clean and flat down to 20hz?
Also realistically speaking 20hz wave length is 56.6 ft long you need a combination of at least that in all directions to eliminate room nodes. so that much bass in any room with out treatment is going to give you issues. http://www.acousticfields...

Moon 110 LP phono pre-amp?? Is this a good valuable or is there better for less??
I was invited to listen to Sim's early Moon phono stages and I think they have come along way but to be honest its not something i think they do well. I think for that price range the Graham Slee stuff is much better amongst others.

Where is the significant point of diminishing returns on hi-end turntable?
From reading your initial post you seem to be looking for music and not a gear head? After many years of $10k tables I've recently set up a Garrard 301 system with a modest Jelco 12" tone arm and Van Den Hull MC 10 cart  with my custom plinth abou...
If this sounds like YOUR Turntable story, please share your final chapter
I went up the Oracle Dephi chain and ended up at the mk5 but wasn't engaged in music anymore. so i've found a home in music again with a Garrard 301 with a layered Bamboo plinth and Jelco 12" arm. admittedlyI'm still cart hunting but using the Van...

I thought the Cambridge used the Oppo 105 guts with a slightly different out put stage? at least that's what the dealer told me. maybe i'm getting the models mixed up.
The effect 60Hz Cycles on 50Hz SACD-PLayers
one other thing to keep in mind  Japan uses both 50 and 60 cycles depending on the area of the island so I would imagine its fine for either.  ( Luxman being build in japan) put the proper voltage into it and you should be fine as the above people...
