Directionality of wire
It’s lonely at the top, Georgie Boy. How are things on the bottom? 😬
Is it the beer or do speakers/electronics really need some extended warm-up period?
@douglas_schroeder I actually agree with part of what you’re saying, maybe even most. I agree to the extent I believe it’s quite difficult to keep track of the sound of one’s system over an extended time if one is trying to keep track of the progr...

I didn't know I was so popular. Whoa!

douglas_schroederTime to play "March of the Self-Confident Audiophile"! Sorry, guys, you are wrong. You’re living in a fantasy where you can purportedly distinguish between warm up and burn in, and can hear equipment changing in sonics over hours ...
Graphene in fuses and cost
If someone is going to complain about an audiophile product so vociferously the least he could do is get his facts straight. The Graphene in audiophile fuses is not used in the wire element. That’s why the SR Black fuse is black. Duh! 😛 Graphene a...

Ceramics is an excellent natural resonator, I.e., energy dissipator; I use ceramics in at least two products. I use glass microbeads in another product ((iso stand) but the application is quite different from ceramics inasmuch as the glass microbe...

Actually, it’s not added to metal at all, not to increase the conductivity or for any other reason.
Directionality of wire
Wow! All I have to do is mention the word Zippy and the flood gates open up. 💦💦 The ultimate? Gosh, I had no idea. 😛

I’m pretty sure they already have sound absorbing panels for all those places. And for work spaces. I suspect it would be pretty weird if bars were suddenly very quiet and you could actually hear what people say. Oh, well.
Question for cable/wire naysayers.....
A lot of the difficulty in obtaining audible differences in cables can be placed right at the door of wire directionality. A cable or interconnect in the wrong direction just won’t sound right. I’m referring to unshielded cables. But even shielded...

OregonfrankThe acoustic paint is being applied to panels and then the panels placed on walls. Ted Denney’s Facebook page has all of the info on it. In addition to audio applications Denney wants to use it for industrial applications to dampen nois...

willemj, you mentioned on some thread here you had a second system in your study. Can I suggest you might have been better off if you had not listened to quite so much music there and had used that particular room for the purpose it was intended? ...

There’s also the audiophile C37 violin lacquer from Germany for painting capacitors, speaker drivers, printed circuit boards, fuses, wires, etc. 🎻

I usually let my beer warm up for about an hour before gulping it down. 🍺 😛
