Vibration Issues / Turntable Decisions
The same principles do apply to turntables. The same principles also apply to amplifiers, preamplifiers, CD players and speakers. Bungee cords is an excellent example of mass-on-spring physics, upon which almost all audiophile isolation devices ar...
Graphene in fuses and cost
Reading comprehension glitch alert. I said I only went back as far as 2012. The archives are uh, chronological. There are only so many hours in a day. 😛
Adjectives
Downright upright. Bold but not pushy. Tar finish.
Is it the beer or do speakers/electronics really need some extended warm-up period?
That makes sense to me since almost all systems distort the sound like crazy 😜 when turned up past moderate levels. I’m not hot doggin ya. Beer numbs the brain to the gross distortion.
Ever Bought an Audio Product that was Stupid Good for the Money?
You obviously have me confused with someone else.

roxy54I said decoupling not damping.I was responding to the poster previous to my comment. I am pro decoupling and pro draining and to a lesser extent pro damping. In combination, not separately.

I already acknowledged some racks and stands are not too bad. And I never mentioned anything about damping. I trust you aren't confusing isolation with damping.
Looking for Better Jitter Reduction in a DAC
Generally speaking one should get the best improvement by employing both a static charge remover such as Nordost anti static spray or ionizer AND a degausser such as Walker Takisman or Radio Shellac bulk tape eraser.
Synergistic Red Fuse ...
I don’t suppose it would further the discussion to say the Synergistic verbiage sounds like so much gobbledegook, would it? Not to mention their description of how electricity works on their new Blue Fuse page. As I opined earlier sometimes it's b...

Viva la difference! 😀
Who thinks $5K speaker cable really better than generic 14AWG cable?
No, it shouldn’t!
Name three of yours the most favourite drummers
Time for me to come clean. The Phil Collins paragraph I posted is actually the very sarcastic monologue spoken by the protagonist of Amercian Psycho, Patrick Bateman. A thousand pardons. 😛
Vibration Issues / Turntable Decisions
Two different spring systems can be used effectively only if their respective resonant frequencies are separated in frequency by a sufficient spacing. Otherwise the two spring systems will interfere. It would be like a car traveling down the road ...
Vibration Issues / Turntable Decisions
RoxyGeoff,No, I don't "follow". You're still saying that most racks and stands are "terrible", and that is a silly comment.OK. let's try a different approach. Most racks and stands amplify structureborne vibration. Which is terrible. That's why mo...

Huh? Why form an opinion until AFTER the 200 hour mark?
