Can anyone answer the question I posed before - why do Morrow Cables require more burn in time than other cables? Or is it that other cable companies underestimate burn in time or burn in time is not specified? Or maybe MA overestimates burn in ti...

But isn’t that a digital recording? 😬
Sound and vibration control
Mass-on-Spring systems like the ones we’re discussing here, where the speakers provide the mass, behave like mechanical low pass filters, thus preventing almost all speaker cabinet resonances from reaching the floor, since the resonant frequency o...
WHY DO SOME AUDIOPHILES THINK YOU ARE BRAGGING WHEN YOU ARE SHARING?
A rich audiophile has about as much chance of getting into audio heaven as a camel 🐪 has of passing through the eye 👁 of a needle. When you control the Mail you control Information. - Newman
Thinking about upgrading, but wondering about diminishing returns
There is no law of diminishing returns in audio. One rather inebriated passenger on a plane exclaims to another whilst looking out the window, “Hey, those people look like ants.” The other guy says, “They are ants. We haven’t left the ground yet.”

How about a little philosophy? There are a variety of philosophical approaches to decide whether an observation may be considered evidence; many of these focus on the relationship between the evidence and the hypothesis. Carnap recommends distingui...

Ah, the relentless pursuit by the blind test fanatics. No matter what happens, or how thorough, there’s always the next move. “You didn’t do the test properly,” “There were not enough trials,” or whatever. It never stops. Been there done that. Hey...

Say, didn’t Morrow just overhaul his cables? Are these the new revised Morrows? I think Morrow should be congratulated for being up front about cable burn in. They all require burn in. It takes a tough man to make a tender chicken.
How important is it for you to attain a holographic image?
Getting a nice deep wide soundstage is best accomplished, at least to a large degree, by a method that eliminates or reduces trial and error. Correct speaker placement is critical for obtaining the best possible soundstage, but the ubiquitous tria...

One thing I’ve observed about Lizzie over the years is for just about any subject you can think of whatever she suggests or claims the best course of action is usually to do the opposite. I’m only joking, of course. Seasons greetings! 🥰

Wow, That was what I call a quick response!  I was still composing. 😁 Don’t go poking hornets nests if you don’t want to get stung. 🐝
