Legacy Focus SE or Magico A3 I would not own Tekton Double Impacts because it is noted in reviews that it has a small listening area. I often have guests (including my wife) and I want them to enjoy the music as much as I do. It is one of the reasons I sold my electrostats ...
Legacy Focus SE or Magico A3 Let it be known that price does not equate to performance, except at the high end. To better the Focus speakers, I’m looking at $50-60K for Von Schweikert VR55, Einstein and Luminwhite Kyara (also all high efficiency speakers). The Focus will save...
Legacy Focus SE or Magico A3 I own the original Legacy Focus speakers. I have heard that the Focus HD is inferior sounding despite the higher quality drivers. The SE version is very similar other than the placement of the ribbon tweeter. The Focus has 3 woofers as does the Fo...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat I have not experimented with the E Mat magnetic side down, away from a component or panel breaker box. However, I can confirm that I tried stacking one pair of E Mats under equipment and in the panel breaker boxes only (I couldn’t use the E Mat un...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat I feel confident in putting the mat inside the electrical panel. The outside panel is visible from my gate, set back about 35’ from the street. However, if I put the mat on top of the panel door, visible to anyone near my gate, they could just tak...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat I just heard Frank’s audio system for the first time. He has the same speakers and CD player as I do, with a pair of Hallographs and 10 SR HFTs. Otherwise, our audio systems are different. I was enthralled with the dynamically robust, tonally colo...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat I was mistaken as to the use of the magnetism in the mat. It is apparently only used for attaching to or attracting the mat to the device or surface. Even the current mat is not large enough to cover my main power box which is 14" long. Should ...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat You said it toetapaudio. Which is why I label number 2 posters as trolls, miscreants and people I would not want to associate with. I would like to know more about the Omega E mat too. I surmise that it has a purely electrical function, working...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat Someone did an extensive review on 1/29/2005. https://www.audioasylum.com/reviews/Accessory/Rain-Tinge/Resolution-Enhancement-for-CD-and-DVD-playb...However, noting the music that the reviewer liked, I find the review highly suspect. "favorit...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat I don't understand trolls. In the stock market, short position holders spew disinformation to drive the stock price down, sometimes killing the company. Here, what does a troll get out of knocking products they have no intention of trying? They...
Perfect Path Technologies: Omega E mat Many reviewers select excellent music for comparison, well recorded acoustical music, jazz and orchestral and they list their choices. However, an equal number of reviewers use the "crap" recordings as Frank says that I hear at audio shows. Patr...
New Tweak --- Its Fantastic Wolf-Garcia or another troll filed a complaint with the Moderator that their was a sales pitch in the thread, so they deleted it again. However, that post that dealt with the price and money back guarantee could be deleted and hopefully the threa...
New Tweak --- Its Fantastic I have petitioned Tammy to repost it and she is looking at it right now. I have no idea why it was removed except for Shadhorne and Wolf-Garcia’s two trolling negative comments may have triggered removal. I added the comment that neither Frank is...
price of Oppo players threw the roof Esoteric/Teac was part of the Gibson group but in that case, the holding company broke up in bankruptcy and Esoteric/Teac reclaimed independence despite being totally autonomous from the Gibson group in all aspects of its operations. Cerwin-Vega,...
New Tweak --- Its Fantastic The only tweaks similarly costly were the SR black power duplexes (2 for two systems) and the SR blue fuse (only needed 3 in 3 amps for 2 systems), so TC is relatively low cost. |
