Guys, this is part of the issue I am asking about in my other thread...
Might be worth your while to check the owner's manual to make sure you (or someone else, if you bought used) didn't "accidentally" replace the fuses with the wrong values at some point in the past.  Nothing worse than having your equipment (or you...
Total System Gain Question
Just plug it in, turn the preamp up to max, wait 5 minutes, and see if you have any hearing or speakers left.  Geesh!  (The things some folks stress about!)
HELP! I bought equipment drunk, don’t know anything.
Incredible, as in not credible.
Vibration - What are the Main Sources?
Good Vibrations?  Try classic Beach Boys!
System forclassical music
With that budget to replace an in-wall system?  You've got to be kidding!
klipshorn speakers
If he's a newb, don't waste his money on a K-horn for head banging music; get a pair of vintage Cerwin Vegas and tell him to rock out!

Lack of popularity of Chord???

OK - Now What…?
You can keep buying more sh*t just for the sake of buying more sh*t, or you can start exploring artists that you enjoy listening to, taking a deep dive into their musical repertoire, find out who their influences are and look into other artists wh...
Blindfold Speaker testing
So what? Been done decades ago. Nothing new under the sun.
Is There Any Reason To Buy A Reel-To-Reel Machine Nowadays??
Nothing like spending the cost of an entire season of concerts on one album, that you probably already have multiple copies of.  Rich fool's hobby reel-to-reel is (says Yoda).
What tracks offer the best left right separation?
I've got a bunch of the old "bachelor pad" aka "space music" collections from the 60s; many of them feature hard-panned instruments.  Has nothing to do with live sound, but was fun for the pipe-smoking sophisticat trying to bed a sweet young thing...
