New Joseph Audio Pulsar Graphene 2
I think 2 feet from the back wall to the tweeter is not enough space for any speaker. Really depends on the speaker, and the room's inherent gain, and how it was designed. Rarely  you'll get true bookshelf speakers, and they need close wall reinf...
Theoretical question about how CD's work
Hey sealrock - Imagine a record. On it, you can see the sound waves of the recording. The vinyl track gets deeper, or taller depending on the signal. Now imagine you could measure the depth of the grove in precise increments and you did this every...
eqipment on 24/7?
As I've written elsewhere, my current, hot running Luxman 507ux integrated warms up in no time at all. My Class D amps take days. Like 2-4 days. They used 7W at idle, so I left them on all the time.
I found the best portable headphone amp I have ever heard
I have the Fiio with the outboard Mont Blanc amp. I haven't tried the Mont Blank with the BTR3, but so far I don't need to. One of my goals here was to stop travelling with my (allegedly) audiophile LG V30, and my Fiio X5 AND the portable amp. I k...
Room improvement
Adjusting my ears to the speaker and room worked perfect and cost nothing. Oh, it does. It’s mentally fatiguing. At least for me. There are some interesting articles i keep meaning to pursue about the dual streams of information our brain perceiv...

You are welcome, uncledemp, glad I could help you enjoy this hobby even more!
Anyone compared Sanders Magtech vs. McIntosh MC462/52 or MC611/01 with Magnepan 3.7/20.7?
You are also describing loudness issues. How about a pre or integrated with a loudness control, like a Luxman or Yammie? The Luxman's loudness control is fixed, and subtle. The Yammie really pretty adjustable. Best,E
Room improvement
As much more educated gents than me have pointed out, the amount of room treatment needed can vary a great deal by speaker, so the idea that one way or the other is more correct is not well supported. Controlled narrow directivity can greatly enha...
Mundorf Silver Oil or Silver Gold Oil ?
I find those caps pretty colorful, either way. Prefer Clarity, and by others whom I trust, Jupiter copper foil for less saturated. Not saying your choice is wrong, just keep in mind you have options, pick whichever you like best,E

Personally I think it’s the system’s responsibility to sound good in the room. Not the room’s responsibility to sound good in the system. Which limits you to speakers which interface well with the room. A good sounding room can accept a much bro...

Contact GIK Acoustics. You can send them pics online of your room, and they will help you. Great advice, phenomenally high value products.
Is It Just My Imagination?
There is a dynamic range compression setting you might want to be sure is off, also, swap out your C channel cable for another one, could be intermittent. Same idea, swap your C channelp amp with another.
I can buy a pair of Sanders Innersound Eros...
Jperry is right. They are spot on in terms of frequency response, but that flat panel is unforgiving of listening location. Still sounds good off axis, but if you want the headphone like experience it can make your neck hurt. :)
Final piece of the puzzle: digital correction in a suboptimal room
There is another alternative I just thought of, and full disclosure, it's cause I'm selling one! I have a Parasound P7, highly rated as a 2 and multi-channel pre. I have gone to an integrated, so no longer need separate pre/power amp. The reason y...
Final piece of the puzzle: digital correction in a suboptimal room
Hey OP:Your speakers, tuned properly, could do flat 20-40 Hz in that room. If you are looking for a dance club experience though, you don't want flat, or extended. You want output!!  That makes more sense. However, room modes will force you to kee...
