Easily the best and most significant sonic tweak one could ever make!
@aj523So just that I’m clear, you keep them in while listening to music? You don’t get any feedback or distortion?,Thanks.
I was told to put Kitty Litter in my new speaker stands. Was he joking?
Yes, I used unscented kitty litter in my Skylan stands, 3/4 full. You can use sand, I don't think it makes that much difference. The point is to create some mass.
BlueSound Stinks(!), anyone?
I use the Node 2i plugged into a Nextgear extender. Make sure your tablet/phone is on the same network as the Node. The BluOs App is easy to use. Wish it had an option to alphabetize my playlists.
Looking for a good system for my apartment. Any advise?
Also, take a look at Yamaha integrateds. They include phono stage and DAC and can be found in the used market.
HOW DO YOU CLEAN YOUR CABLE JACKETS?
That's what I said. Oldschool1 was talking about mud? Time to change the furnace filters?

Coincidently, DH Labs is having a 25% off sale Thurs to Sat. Promo code TURKEY25. No affiliation.
HOW DO YOU CLEAN YOUR CABLE JACKETS?
Microfiber cloth lightly dampened with distilled water.
Buying a DAC when you can't try it first
Cullen Cable makes a good power cord for the Node at a reasonable cost.
Streamers sans DAC?
@ozzy62How does the Lumin Mini App compare with Bluos?
Streamers sans DAC?
Yes, I feel the same way. However, I like the BluOs app on my Node 2i.Not interested in Roon. Something in the $1500 range with a user friendly App?
Solid State Phono Preamp Suggestions $3k-$4k
@mijostynTrue, but what if 64dB is too high and the user wants to reduce the gain?
Solid State Phono Preamp Suggestions $3k-$4k
Be aware that the JC3+ has a fixed MC gain of 64 dB.
Solid State Phono Preamp Suggestions $3k-$4k
Yes, the Hana SL is nice, using it with the XP-15 and Technics SL1200-G.
Best Interconnect with Step Up Transformer
Silnote Audio makes some nice low capacitance phono cables that I use from my TT to phono preamp. Their list prices are inflated, sort of like Morrow.
Solid State Phono Preamp Suggestions $3k-$4k
After going through two other phono preamps, I settled on the Pass Labs XP-15. It is dead quiet and does not have SS glare or brightness. It has been replaced my the XP-17, right in your price range.http://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/pass-la...
