Another option is the current "amp-of-the-month", Musical Fidelity A1 integrated. Runs in class-A (like the Sugden) and costs $1700. May be hard to find.

IMHO, most of the benefit will be achieved with Bi-wire/amping. The theory is to keep the (relatively) powerful back wave, generated by the woofer, away from the delicate mid/treble signals. Tri-wiring is kind of overkill.
