Newbie Q: How do small woofer speakers reach 32Hz?
Check out this set of measurements on the Totem Staf, which is admittedly a slightly smaller speaker than the Hawk, but in many ways similar. The -6db point is 36 Hz. I have had most of the Totem line and they are great speakers and have amazingly...
Piggy back conditioners?
Don't know the answer. I use Adept response power conditioners too. The folks at Audience are extremely helpful and will definitely be able to answer your question.Just shoot them an e-mail.
Aftermarket power cable for power conditioner?
Rrog -- my response was to Macdadtexas, and I wasn't taking issue with your post. And for the record I think Macdadtexas is a good dude, even if we disagree on powercords. But since you thought I was, let me note that I don't disagree with what you...
Aftermarket power cable for power conditioner?
Oh yeah, I forgot about the crowd that thinks that power cords don't make a difference, that wire is just wire, and that cutting up and reterminating an extension cord from Home Depot is as good as anything else you can find....Or the crowd that t...

Thanks Richard. I'm going to get the Netgear product, as I really want the ability to just use the Duet remote and skip the computer. But your insights are very helpful. I may indeed get in touch if I get stuck. Thanks again!--dan
anyone using a duet with network attached storage?
Sorry, should have been clearer. I am asking about a Logitech Squeezebox Duet. The question being, if you don't want to use your computer as the music source, you can put the music files on a NAS device, and the Duet should be able to access them ...

why does digital volume control cause loss in info
Hi Onhwy61. Thanks. I've read Wadia's explanation, and didn't get it. In simple terms why do you drop a bit to attenuate the volume digitally?
