Rock and roll speakers?
You're welcome Rockanroller. That's cool you're getting something out of all of this. Klipsch and JBL are both good choices, you just have to decide which one is best for you.

You're welcome, and I will. It might be a little while, though.

Well, again, they're very new to North America, and for some reason haven't been publicized yet except on dealer websites.http://www.homeaudiosound.com/?portfolio=jbl-4365-studio-monitorNo experience with them other than reading about them. One of...
Rock and roll speakers?
The problem with the Cerwins imo is that they have rolled off highs. The soft dome tweeters could be the culprit. The JBL L890s use titanium tweeters, but they might be too bright for some. The Cerwins might be better to some than overly bright, a...

Ok, cool, thanks.

Consider a new pair of JBL L890s. They're a bit more than your budget, but they are often heavily discounted. Just keep your eyes open and see. I got my pair for $800 and free shipping.

I have a home speaker that will blow away any JBL... for heavy metal...Dual 15" TAD woofers; it uses a JBL horn, although it is driven by a custom built compression driver with powered by a field coil. No alnico here. Later versions of the same sp...
What better to power my 82db Magico Q5
I've heard the Magicos with Soulution as well...the sound was very well integrated as well as transparent and dynamic. So, imo, Soulution is a great choice. But try before you buy!

Yes you were. As well as the new to North America 4365 which have been available in Europe and the Far East for quite some time now...:D
Bryston 4BSST2
Actually, he never asked about that. Regardless, it wouldn't make sense for Bryston to offer the bridge option if the amp couldn't at least handle a 4 ohm load. Most speakers drop down into 4 ohm territory. The company prides themselves on the fac...
Bryston 4BSST2
A hit in sound quality? Depends on the amp, really. Again, what he needs to find out is if the bridged amps can drive a 4 Ohm and lower load.
Bryston 4BSST2
As far as I know, the bridged Brystons are only able to drive an 8 Ohm load. You might wanna check with Bryston on that. The sound just might be close to the 28BSST2s. Hard to say, really.

Not a bad idea. But, don't most of those need work?

At least 3 years. I'm not sure, I believe so. Retail is around $4 or $5k. Maybe even $6k. The specs are in the reviews, just look them up via Google.

Hi Riffer, yeah the bass is good on that album, imo!I bet. I'm not an Audioslave fan, but I can believe that.
