Wiring Assignments for Denon DL103R...Grovel Yes, you are correct Patrick. That's what I meant when I said I had the right channel but wrong phase. I need better lighting. New eyes wouldn't hurt either. I saw the R and L when I connected mine but I didn't see the E's and assumed the grounds ...
confused??? I went the 834P route a while back and I whole heartedly agree with Jimbo. If you are going to make a change save up and get the 834P.
Wiring Assignments for Denon DL103R...Grovel Silly me. Right channel, wrong phase. Thanks, Rick. I thought the cartridge was just still breaking in, that really tighened up the bass.
Wiring Assignments for Denon DL103R...Grovel I went back and got a better look with a magnifying glass. Looking from the back at the pins, R is on the right. Backed up by Tom's clarification, I guess I got the wiring correct.I'm still confused about the HFNRR channel test and I can't find an...
Wiring Assignments for Denon DL103R...Grovel I don't have enough light to see the lables on the back, but here is how I have mine wired. Looking at the pins from the back: white red blue greenI'm not sure if I have the channels correct. I listened to the HFN test record and the sound comes f...
Has anyone replaced tubes in Aesthetix Rhea ? Thanks, Stew. I was contemplating a cartridge upgrade but I might do this first instead. Probably a cheaper tweak than a cartridge.
Has anyone replaced tubes in Aesthetix Rhea ? Stew3859,So did you only replace the 6922's?
aestetix rhea - the groove - sutherland fono stage I'm not sure that I understand the comment that the Rhea sounded "darker". Maybe it is a system synergy thing. My Rhea sounds anything but dark although I am using SS amps.
If you had $500 to spend, how would you spend it? Yep, I would always be left wondering what that one, $500 hooker could do.Happy New Year!!.
OK, I made the leap... Bnc,Glad you "fixed" the issue with a modest investment. Now you've got something to enjoy your records with and you can take your time moving up. Half of the fun in this hobby is striving for the next improvement. If it were me in your current pos...
Has anyone replaced tubes in Aesthetix Rhea ? I had what might be a similar situation with my Rhea. From time to time I would hear a short duration hissing or rushing sound, but only from the right side. Of course my first reaction was to suspect tubes. During one night of experimentation I c...
About Lugnut -- Patrick Malone It is tough to get news like this around the holidays, but these things don't give a rat's ass about holidays. I don't know Patrick personally but I have benefited tremendously from his posts here. I view all of the posters on this analog forum as...
Record Cleaner Winegasman,I used to clean records much the same way as you are now. I do think an RCM makes a huge difference with cleaning. You don't need to spend a lot of money on an RCM. I built one using an old Hoover vacuum motor, a lazy susan bracket and ...
Turrntable With or Without Suspension? I agree with the prevailing sentiment here. A suspended table is probably not going to solve your problems as you describe them. I have what I consider to be one of the best suspended tables available but I know that if the whole foundation that i...
Taking the analog plunge... I'm just passing on what I've learned from advice given here. I almost bought a 300 once and then found out about the upgrades available for the 250. Great bang for the buck until you're ready to shell out some real cash. |
