Wilson to Tekton to ????
Good lesson.   I've been running w my epi 100 speakers in one room or another for forty years and they still continue to amaze me.
Favourite Guitarists
Jimmy Page I'm not a fan of Bonamassa, not a big fan of SRV, either, though I acknowledge their talents
The revolution has begun!
Technics ...   jus' sayin'
Polk R700
excellent.   Yes, I'm very much into price/performance
Power cable dilemma
It would make no sense at all for the Levinson to ship with an inferior power cord.  Just use what the engineers supplied.
Does a brand new electrical circuit for audio gear benefit from burn in/break in time?
Nope: no "burn in" effects.

Only two tracks to test your system, forever!
Over My Head - Fleetwood Mac Sunshine on my Shoulder (or Annie's Song) - John Denver
Ditching Class A Amps due to Heat - Sort of a Poll
hmm... I dunno, I'm no "class" expert, but the Marantz Ruby is some type of class D and sure sounds nice to me and to the various critics I've read.  The Technics SU-R 1000 is None Of The Above, and it is supposedly hella great. I'm not married t...
Hi-end audio is a big zero
I agree that the room is very important... even if not officially "acoustically treated" and just couch and rug.  And, the important thing is to match the speakers w the room, which is a situation I'm struggling w right now; the speakers I "really...
