| Why should audiophile deniers be allowed on an audiophile forum? Everyone is entitled to there opinions, but where I draw the line is when people go off and start bringing in politics, religion or race into a thread about cables or equipment. This is Hifi forum. My 2 cents. JD | |

| Can a great system make a mediocre recording sound good? It’s true that a better system can make even the most poorly recorded, mixed, pressed album sound better, but it’s still not going to sound really good, only better. JD | |

| Acoustic question @grannyring , Thanks for the tip. My speakers are sitting on some polished granite (old countertop) and I’ve put painters tape on the granite with marks every half inch. I’m still adding sound dampening as well. JD | |

| Do you spend more time analyzing the sound of your system, worrying it could be better? Yes, I have tunes on at least 4 hours a day, but I’m still putting the final touches on the new system, but a streamer might be coming and if so, what cables will I use? than what streaming service will I use? | After years of separates, I'm going integrated. Anyone else do the same? I didn’t move from, I set up a second system. I was either going to get a Luxman or a Hegel. I ended up getting a Hegel H390. It plays Tidal without a separate streamer and the built in DAC is pretty good. All the Best. JD |
