Squeezebox hard to see? I have a SB3 and a Touch. The Touch offers the benefit of showing album art, but is not readable at my listening distance (about 10'). The SB3 lacks the album art, but I can read its scroll from my listening position. I use an Itouch with Ipeng so...
Lucinda Williams live Hm, gave up on Lucinda after Car Wheels on a Gravel Road. All that false bravado and faux warbling not my cup of tea. She's one of those legends for the sake of it type.Thank goodness, I was beginning to think I was alone. I've never been able to ...
Merlin TSM comparisons The TSM's are great speakers. I've had the mme's for a couple of years and remain completely satisfied. They are senstitive to setup, but the effort to dial them in is well worth it. Enjoy!

New Marantz SA11S2? From what I can tell, this player does not have a digital input right?
Logitech Duet vs. Dedicated Transport I'm a bit of squeezebox junkie. I have a duet, sb3, touch and boom, all running wirelessly. They sound great. I would recommend getting the new Touch over the Duet. My Duet has been the least reliable of all of the devices in terms of connectivity...

Which Universal Remote? I also reviewed the Amazon reviews before picking up the One. But, benefitting from having already owned the 880 and being familiar with the Harmony software and programming processes, it was apparent to me that at least 75% of those negative revi...
Which Universal Remote? I had the 880 and just replaced it with a Harmony One because the screen on my 880 was dying. I like the One much better. Feels great in your hand, the screen is much easier to read, the buttons are better and more logically laid out, etc. As othe...
what do you use to remove your tubes? I asked Roger Modjeski (Ram Labs, Music Reference) about this, and he said the idea that you should not use your hands is a myth, he then explained to me why, but I don't remember his rational). It's called audiophile paranoia. Seriously, what pos... |
