Where can Open Baffle speakers be placed
bad idea.  this would defeat what OB speakers are all about.  Minimum of 2-3 feet suggested.
And a happy Festivus to all!
Don't we all.For me, personally, it's all about the feats of strength.
Do speaker wires matter
Had a pair of Mirage M-5si.  A Rotel 990 power amp drove those to good effect (into 4 ohms was putting out well over 300wpc)  Phenomenal room lock in the bass from two 6.5 inch woofers!  The mirage speakers were clearly voiced on the dark side so ...
Single Track that's worth the price of Admission
@millercarbon  Thanks for pointing that out--sadly no.  Maybe I ought to spring for the LP set.  Just not sure if my analogue rig is "worthy."  Perhaps it is given the amount of enjoyment I have had as of late.

@twoleftears  thanks for the link-beautiful!@ebm  in a bit of a scroogish mood?  Come on now.@millercarbon  thanks for the suggestion.  You won't be upset if I get the sacd or gold cd version will you!?
I bought some Owens Corning 703. Now what?
This might take more effort but if you ceiling is low, it may be tempting to suspend several panels off reflection points on your ceiling.  I would suggest hanging them 4-6" off the ceiling.  Any panel will work more efficiently if you allow space...
Dynaco PAT 4 Pre-Amp ....Why is it Bashed??
Built one of those many many years ago along with an ST-150 power amp.  The PAT-4 was Dynacos first foray into solid state preamps and as such it lacked refinement that the later released PAT-5 had.  The PAT-4 initially received some good reviews ...

Would be helpful to know the details of your room--dimensions, speaker/seat position, etc.
What amplifiers/integrateds do you like with Cornwall IVs?
I might consider an Audio Note EL34 kit.  Loads of quality parts, single pair of el34 tubes, from what I have read quiet as a graveyard. Bet it would be a great match and a blast to build if you enjoy that type of thing.  They occasionally have sa...
Tekton Electron SE
Glad the SE's have worked out for you.  I called B&W the other day and requested a Be tweeter.  Ya wanna know how that went!?One of the great things about Tekton in the huge number of options you have.  And not having to waste  audio dollars o...
How I'd spend money given no limits
Sounds like a road to being truly unhappy.
Women who enjoy quality speakers
@justmetoo          I in no way doubt your experience.  I'm sure that what you suggest applies to many.  But there are a good number of others where the reason lies somewhere else.  I have Fridays off so my routine is to bike, clean the house from...
Looking to buy a quality integrated $10,000 budget.
Another vote for Raven.  I think it would be a great match for your speakers.  The ability to tweak the sound to your needs is another bonus.  Dave could easily guide you in that regard.  They are also very nice looking units.
Women who enjoy quality speakers
Jasmine, I suspect many men on this site are a bit jealous right now. I think women are very capable of discerning good sound, perhaps even better than their male counterparts. What I don’t understand is why seemingly fewer woman make it a priorit...
REVEL performa3 f208 or TEKTON Moab
Glupson makes Tekton sound like it belongs in the Klipsch camp.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  This is not a front row in your face kind of speaker.  It in my mind defines neutrality.  Nothing "aggressive" about it.
