Miyajima MADAKE experience
@labpro I got my tools with cartridges, most of the time I use small one I received with my first ZYX cartridge many years ago, then I bought many  vintage cartridges and got many more tools with them :))
Miyajima MADAKE experience
@labpro I think the metal tube is just for protection inside the display case (to make sure the cartridge can’t be smashed in the box). Use non magnetic tool and screws.
Musical Fidelity Phono preamp loading
 47k Ohm (not pF)
Another review of a tweaked Denon DL-103R ??? Oh no! Boring? Surely not! Please read it!
The cartridge being touted here has a Micro Ridge stylus shape. @lewm  My comment about Miyajima was addressed to @rdk777 who's using Zu Audio Denon cartridge with original conical tip.
Need RCA loading plugs
The best Audio Resistors are here directy from the manufacturer (Texas Components). Any value available. Look for Naked Foil or Z-Foil type.
Technics SL-1210GAE Anniversary delivery .
Speedy express is open for business but they’re not going to send it via bullet mail like Russian. Like Brent said, Russian post before covid is a like a bullet mail, sometimes it's only one week from here to the USA with the cheapest register...
Technics SL-1210GAE Anniversary delivery .
Japan post (EMS) is probably the best in the world. They are superfine, I bought hundreds of records from Japan and never had any issue. I have my records in Tokyo since April, shipping by Japan post to Russia (or to USA) is impossible now, when I...
Technics SL-1210GAE Anniversary delivery .
I’m talking about Japan Post, not overpriced DHL or Fedex (their prices are insane). If someone will ship 100 turntables with DHL or Fedex it’s hard to imagine the final price for distributor and customers.Japan post (or EMS) is not available at t...

There is NO shipping from Japan to USA at all, except for the sea mail. Japan post does not ship to USA at all since the covid if you don't know.  This is the only reason.

Why not just buy used MIYAJIMA SHILABE instead ?A used Shibata life-span is much longed than new conical tip anyway
Vintage DD turntables. Are we living dangerously?
@dgarretson If you think your upgrade is better then it’s fine, but it’s you and your system. I have about 8 Luxman armbases (all types) and they are all fine in my system to my ears just like my two stock Luxman turntables. The reason I bought th...
Vintage DD turntables. Are we living dangerously?
Luis, do yourself a favor and use PD-444 as it is, without any modifications like subplinth or whatever, it’s a waste if time and money for nothing, really. The original design is absolutely perfect and it works perfectly without any single proble...
Vintage DD turntables. Are we living dangerously?
Luxman armbase size is about 60mm on one side, so you can’t make a 60mm hole in 60mm armbase, also there is a lock mechanism inside the armbase. This base is not designed for tonearms with huge mounting hole (bigger than the base itself). Ever see...
45 tubes for Yamamoto A-08s
Since I sold some of the rarest 12at7wa tubes from my ex push-pull amp., I’m thinking about much older 45 tubes from the 1930’s for my Yamamoto A-08s. ST bottle shape or Globes, Solid Plates or Mesh Plates... This is where you lost me... Vintage t...
