Opinions on McIntosh CD Players?
Try the McIntosh DVD player. It won't play CDR's but for the price of something like $2,800 sound was quite good. Unfortunately I couldn't compare side by side to Cary or Meridian but I will risk saying it's in the same league as it was a good bum... 
Onix A-120, opinions
People have described the Onix as bright SS sound. Creek would be more neutral. Why not try the SEARCH function at the discussion's main heading for more info?

AA Capitole MKII/ CD Burner to use with it
Marantz recommends TDK or Sony on their newer CDB's. I have had the best luck with these brands. BAD luck with Maxell, Memorex, etc.Marantz recommends Mitsui Gold for their older CDB. I was originaly using Mitsui but had some read erors and ruined...
