What is the science behind audiophile fuses?
Fuses have to heat up and blow to protect the downstream equipment.  So they have to have a significant resistance (to heat up) and as current goes up, they heat up, resistance goes up (a property of all metals) and they heat more and blow.  This ...
Power conditioners and power regeneration
Lots of sour grapes on regeneration. I have the PS Audio P10 and it has none of the problems that those selling other "conditioners" report.  When you're good enough that people have to make stuff up to defame you, then you must be doing something...

Go double XL.  Can't beat double XL.
If the DAC is the same, how different do CD transports sound?
They should be very similar.   You've hit on a key point.  The main difference in the sound between CD players is the relatively cheap onboard DAC that each uses.  Eliminate the DAC and now you've eliminated most of the variance. So it comes down...
Duelund DCA12GA 600Vdc used as speaker cable: first impressions
I wired my speakers and made cables from my external crossovers to the speakers using this wire.  Excellent stuff. Jerry
Are your listening levels healthy? Doing damage?
If you need to turn it up loud to sound good, then your system needs work.   I have some damage from when I was young and couldn't afford a good system.
Power cable
I don't like to have to look up the model of every cable that everyone posts but I'll give you 2 thoughts on it and you can make your own decision: 1.  I like my power cables to be all 10 awg.  12 is probably ok.  14 no.  10 is for sure ok. 2.  ...
"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down".
If you guys don't know what I'm talking about (and I really doubt that) then the world is a better place.

Criticism is an attempt to just find another invented issue to signal your virtue over.  Insincere statements of foregiveness for your musical tastes are just the second level of gaslighting. Jerry
Lush and Romantic Tube Amps
The Decware ZMA with it's huge power supply would be a good choice for those speakers.  Closest you can get in a push-pull to the SET sound. JErry

Wool is much closer to a spring than rubber.  Springs (wool ball) isolates your speakers and lets them vibrate independent of the floor. Glad you enjoy it.  I had the same results when installing townshend platforms. Jerry
Tannoy Westminster’s Audition?
I heard them at the LA show and wasn't impressed at all.  Hopefully it was the electronics they were paired with.  I won't bash the brand but it is an overhyped and poor performing tube amp.   They are beautiful.  Remember that you are paying at ...
Are higher end preamps worth the investment when you are only streaming Tidal & Spotify ?
Tidal and Qobuz on a great streamer and DAC sound better than most CDs because most CDs are played on a CD player with internal DAC. Now if you’re doing CD right, with a good CD transport to your same DAC, they are likely hard to tell apart. Jerry
Ethernet streaming
Not aware of a manufacturer that makes a great DAC and a great streamer.  So I would expect an all-in-one would be a compromise.
I used to think pricey interconnects were snake oil...
Jasonbourne will buy your old cables.
