Refined 30-60 watt Tube amp
Manley NeoClassic 300b amplifiers which can be run in single ended or push/pull mode. They will make plenty of power in push/pull for 94db speaker. Nice looking things, too.

I Hardly Listen to Music Anymore
I second the previous comment about live gigs. I intend to see John Renbourn this weekend in Berkeley. He never fails to inspire.
New Audio Note M2 Preamp

Audio Research EC21 active tube crossover has been recommended to me as a very good unit with the proviso that it is gone through and upgraded with better parts/wiring.

Please help with choosing speakers
And when you say too large for your room do you mean you need to put them on the wall or hang them from the ceiling? Just about any speaker that goes on the floor, unless it is super slim (think the active Bang and Olufsen) is going to take up jus...

Speaker wires for bottlehead 2a3 & klipsch chorus?
Oxygen free wire with good insulation should do you fine. The stuff at Home Depot is very good and very cheap. Read Roger Russell's article on speaker wire and the tests McIntosh labs did at one point on various speaker wire. Here is the link to t...
