Linn LP12 vs. VPI Classic 1 and 3
I owned a Linn LP12 with Ekos 1, Lingo 1, Cirkus and Tramp 2. The table sounded okay and was a lot of fun and taught me the importance of set up. Linn lost me as a customer as future upgrades became extremely costly and I had a difficult time just...
Dynavector XX Mk II
Jmcgrogam2, don't even think about playing around with loading untill the cart has between 50-100 hours of break-in. The recessed highs will open up once the cart breaks in.
What kind of power cord comes with expensive gear
My amp came with a 5 foot AC cable. I immediately replaced it as I needed 6 feet.
Any Alice Cooper fans?
Big fan of Alice Cooper and an average fan of his music. Had an opportunity around 15 years ago to play a round of golf with AC...super interesting person and very nice guy.
Linn LP12 vs. VPI Classic 1 and 3

ProAc Response D18 for Bryston 3B-SST2
Yes, the Bryston 3B-SST2 will drive the D18 quite easily, however, ProAc's are known to excell with tubes.
Anyone tried military grade anti vibration feet ?

It's all over now, baby blue. Or is it not?
Anchor all shelving to the wall studs to prevent the CD/Vinyl rack from being pulled down. If you have speaker grills, put them on. Exposed drivers are like magnets for toddlers. Congratulations, the fun has only started!
Best way to pack and ship a Linn LP 12
Remove the bearing oil and put on the red cap to prevent any contamination from entering the bearing well. The new owner will want to use new oil.I agree with Polk432, tables should never be shipped with the tonearm affixed. Audiogon is a great pl...
