How to reverse phase on a cartridge?
Jmcgrogan2, please note that the only piece of equipment that inverts phase is the OP's standalone phono pre-amp, therefore, the OP only option is to switch the cartridge lead without affecting other sources in his system.

How can do you extend the life of your tubes?
My pre and power amps all have standby switches that provide a much reduced current to the tube filament, thus avoiding thermo shock when powering up from cold.

Just for clarification, the JMW 10 and JMW 10.5 are both 10 inch arms. The JMW 10.5i and the Classic are 10.5 inch arms.

Philipwu, I believe that was true with the first generation VPA and especially with KR Tubes. Nagra later fix this problem in the second gerneration VPA which allowed for a wider variance of 845 to be used.
