What kind of outlet wall plate do yo use? Geez guys, I'm with Albert - why not spend a few bucks and try a few instead of dismissing them out of hand? But unlike him I don't find metal to necessarily be a bad thing; it all depends upon what it is and how it's made. There are other outlet ...

Can the Vendetta be updated? Now is not the best time to ask John to update one, as he has to finish several CTC Blowtorch preamps that Bob Crump wasn't able to before his untimely death. I suggest waiting at least a few months.
Decision between Zu Definition OR VS DB99 Gregm, your post is based upon speculation, not having heard the Zu Definitions (which you graciously admit). Unfortunately it contains some errors.Nealhood, Zu offers a 60 day money back guarantee and in fact insists that you keep the speakers fo...

Audio desk CD Sound Improver The purpose of the Audiodesk Systeme CD Sound Improver is not so much to reduce eccentricity but rather to change the way light reflects and refracts at the edge of the CD by cutting at an angle. It has had a positive effect on every disc I've tri...
New tube amp for ML Prodigy CAT, VTL, ARC???? John (Jafox): you tell it like it is - the JL1s will drive them very well, but the improvements in the JL2 make it preferable in most cases. Thanks for bringing your JL3 Signatures down to play on the U-1s, it was quite an experience. Would have l...
VTL, CTC, Lamm, ARC, EAR, Halcro, Mark Levison Gliderguider is correct, there will be no more. This was true before Bob passed away because it was not economical for them to continue, and they were a labor of love.
Bob Crump passes away over holiday. Some good posts here, notably Fred's and Harmonia's. Since I was closer than most to Bob, I may be able to offer some additional information.Bob had been married, I think once, but after that ended he chose less formal arrangements. If I recall co...
Conrad Johnson ACT2 against Audio Research Ref 3 Ginas, I don't have a strong opinion on the ACT 2 vs. the Ref 3 but suggest you might consider upgrading your digital source. (sorry to hijack this thread)The Andras need serious power, especially current, to make them come alive, which they will....
