Where do I go from here, keep it clean Nrchy, haven't heard the system since all the changes you went through but if it got better than it was all I can say is WOW!. Looking forward to hearing it. A good friend of mine who will remain nameless told me after I did some changes to listen...
Tag Mclaren F1 speakers Haven't heard them but they are beautiful and the concept is great. Carbon fiber with no flat edges for dispersion. They took the design philosophy from they're racing heritage. Here is there website. Tag Mclaren

"Jesus Christ Superstar?" I was able to see the original cast when they came to Madison,WI back in 1970 or 1971. The best I have ever heard was the original. To my ears, a live preformance is so much better than a soundtrack. I gave my original copy vinyl to a friend. It's...
How much burn-in for Soliloquy 5.3s Cody, I got the 6.3's last September. I've got a tuner and had them going for 4 weeks 24/7. It took longer than that for the sound to really fill out. I use Purist Musaeus Shotgun BiWire for my speaker cables. They work very well in my system.

No one cares this is the anniversary? Albert, thank you. My father served in the Pacific during WWII. I will always remember that. On a side note I also remember Ronald Reagan in 1984 giving his Memorial over in Normandy on June 6th, the 40th anniversy of D-Day. In it he stated, we wi...
Power cords? I'll put in my vote for SilClear. Less expensive than the Walker SST with very good results on power cords, IC's, speaker cables etc. I even have a friend who is putting it on his lightbulbs! Listener57, I don't have any experience with the Walker...
Wisconsin - Anyone interested? Nate, I go along with Paul. It was a great time and a good experience to get together and hear your rig and share experiences with other audiofools ;-). To see and hear other musical ideas also will probable hit me in the pocket book since there w...
My baby left me... left me sad and bluuuuueee.... Slappy, you haven't met nrchy yet. More like surrounded in frozen custard! That really would get your mind off of how your feeling. Questions for Soliloquy fans Let me start this by saying In haven't listened to alot of speakers. BMW 808's come to mind. My room is 35 x 15 x 8 with the speakers placed 58" from the wall and 32" from the side. These are the Solioquy 6.3's. Bought in Sept. of "03. These are f...

There's no accounting for taste.... All I can say is WOW! I wonder if this might give Albert Porter some ideas? Looks like I'll have to go to Italy to hear it. I wouldn't mind that ;-)
Wisconsin - Anyone interested? Nrchy, I should add that this is only a suggestion. I don't want to be the one offering your home for the meeting place. I'm glad you picked up on the idea and would be thrilled to get together even if it wasn't a meeting per se. To think I didn't...
Wisconsin - Anyone interested? Definately informal for now. After attending the first meeting it would be good to get people together just to talk and learn and trade stories. It would be nice to just get something going instead of just talking about it. |
