EAD Ultra 2000 Cd Player
Yes there were at least 2 different silver faces for the U2000, a brushed-aluminum original face & later a "Rowland" microbuffed face. There possibly may have also been a v-cut face toward the end of the run; I thought there was anyway. One thi...
Audiodharma Cable Cooker anyone share experiences?
Hi Sean the Dharma cannot be used with networked cables because it also outputs a DC component which of course would trash the network's inductors; Mr. Bruce Brisson Pres. of MIT told me this info. personally.
What do you think about this idea for the FORUMS??
Hi Audiogon I already noticed the format change; looks good to me.
What would you upgrade next?
Agree the Monster conditioner needs upgrading...But seriously, look at that B&K pre driving a DNA-2 Deluxe - that just does not make sense to me. The pre should be the best component in any system. You're compromising the whole rig by driving ...
Change needed at Audiogon
I'll also take all the inquiries that I can get; you really never know. But I completely agree that members make better traders than nonmembers - likely from experience. The funniest one I ever got was a nonmember who wanted to base his offering p...
What percent of your system cost is for cables?
33+1/3% = about $20K on just cabling & AC& worth it too
Is "Paypal "in legal trouble?
gaaaawd almighty: two screwup-companies about to merge --- a match made in hell for certain. I couldn't stand either one of them before, now it'll be twice as bad!

Like Eric says you can use an external attenuator & the balancing adapters, if required, at the preamp input.
Cables 101 for a beginner
Retain the T4 at least for now; that's the best thing you have at the moment cable-wise. MIT makes some better stuff too, but that can come later. Get some decent interconnects to experiment with. When that's settled, then try out some decent upgr...
What pets hang out with Audiophiles?
Hi Ang I thought I had previously explained that in an email? If not, & for those with a need-to-know, she 'takes care of business' on an absorbent disposable piddle-pad (a puppy-training pad) located on a windowsill. The pad is of course repl...
What pets hang out with Audiophiles?
well so far the dogs cats, birds & fish have reported in. Two cats at our house as well; one Siamese (hers) & one Ally cat (mine). On the more exotic side, we also have a female Fox squirrel named (what else) Rocky, who actually is a house...
Low Voltage on Circuit
I've never suggested a PS Audio power plant but this may be the singular exception
Honest opinion's of the Mighty KLIPSCHORNS????
Hi Ed, & thanks Tim for the compliment.I don't have a bunch to add that hasn't already been said here, but I'll gladly share my experiences. I've had my classic Belles for about 18 years now, but if there's any Klipsch guru's among us I'd say ...
