Have a set of Cremona Auditor M - they are special as many Audiogoners have attested to all over this forum. Play mine now in a Cary - Manley - Line Magnetic - Auralic streaming system. Have also experienced Cremona M floorstanders at length in an...
Large speaker recommendation
20'x15'x9' isn't really a big room, or is it? I'd say a set of KEF, Reference, 5 Meta or Dynaudio, Confidence 30. Have heard both in a similar (a bit bigger) sized rooms and both are truly wonderful. Played with Octave, Canor & Classe' Sigma e...
Inexpensive Good Vintage Turntables?
I use a Luxman, PD-121 w/ADC, LMF-1 arm & Rega, Exact & Van den Hull, The One carts. Have to say, I prefer this vintage deck to every Thorens, 160 & AR, The TT I've used over the years. Simplistic design & directness of purpose. Te...

ECD Mikey Hit's a Homer or is he Homer.
So I watched pretty much the entire video posted above and honestly, the guy is harmless. Too much education & experience on this site and most all the audio forums to give his words much weight. He's a huckster looking to sell goods. His deli...

Got to sneak in a couple LPs last night,... Rufus, "Rags to Rufus" - Charles Bradley, "Victim of Love" & Faces, "First Step." Satisfying set!
Warm, rich, smooth, 3d tube integrated amp, budget $6000
+1 on the CANOR AI 1.10. Have had the opportunity to listen to it at length with Aerial Acoustics, Revel & Sonus Faber and it's been equally magnificent with each. Those are all pretty different sounding speaker brands with their own signature...

Shushi/Liquid Lunch on Saturday brought out an interesting playlist last night... Shuggie Otis, "Freedom Flight" on the streamer - gotta get this on vinyl! Then to table with Doyle Bramhall II & Smokestack, "Welcome" & wrapped with Elton J...

Whats on your turntable tonight?
Home late from a Celebration of Life event for a close college buddy who recently passed. Melancholy day so needed to spin a couple (LPs and...) to wind down. Fired Golden Palominos "Visions of Excess" Buffalo Tom, "Birdbrain" & Steve Earle, "...
Whats on your turntable tonight?
@tomic601 - Been streaming "Black Acid Soul" a lot. It's a favorite at the shop. So tried to do some tax work but nope, back to the deck for one more twirl... Jeff Buckley, "Grace". Perfect night cap!
Whats on your turntable tonight?
So many nights away from LPs but tonight, ahhh,... Island Records, 1st pressing of Richard and Linda Thompson, "I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight" 2x - I liberated it from a sleepy record shop just outside of Boston today. Breaking in a a ne...

Improving Comcast modem signal
I totally agree, Comcast is brutal... customer service is a miserable endeavor whenever I need to call in but have found that their routers are fine, in my setup anyway. Maybe this could be all connected better but here's my signal path. I have an...
