Looking for a more solid-feeling turntable (and maybe a new preamp)
@retiredaudioguy  @bbillings was back at the Boston store with the VPI and got the full history of its previous owner. Guess he was a real hi-end guy with some amazing pieces including an ARC Reference, Levinson & Von Schweikert etc most that ...
What artists can you not get enough of?
Anything by Paul Weller... The Jam, Style Council & solo PW albums. I just identify with his song writing and perspective. Oasis & BlackBerry Smioke (polar opposite) when I want to rock. Also a ton of John Mayall & Terry Reed lately - ...

I booked Buster Poindexter at Roxy, Boston in '89... put on an amazing show with full orchestra. Stayed really late and partied with the staff after-hours; a very cool guy indeed.
The "young people' music thread - Artists younger than 40 years old
Leon Bridgs - Son Little - Raye - Olivia Dean - Anderson East - Black Punas. Just some acts I'm streaming lately. A lotta talent in that group
$3500 floor standing speakers used. What would be your choice ?
Aerial Acoustics, 10T - not easy to find, big & heavy but for $3-$3500 used, Mike Kelly's masterpiece is still an amazing system.  https://www.stereophile.com/content/aerial-acoustics-10t-loudspeaker-page-3
