RMAF is no more
Sad to hear RMAF is no more. At least we have the New York Audio Show this December 3rd and 4th.
marketing contact at Affirm financing for audio equipment
thanks for the help.  just to clear up a couple of things; the dead end statement is that when I have tried calling directly (in which case they say they are incapable of contacting a marketing person=dead end) or via the website (no response as i...

The website and phone number lead to dead ends.
retipping for Grado The Reference high output cartridge
Thanks to everyone for the input.  Very helpful.
retipping for Grado The Reference high output cartridge
I don't know why Grado only offers new purchase as an option on their most expensive cartridges.I don't think the lesser versions that you mentioned would be in the same class as The Reference.  I've owned so many of them; the real basic ones, the...
retipping for Grado The Reference high output cartridge
FYI, Grado does not provide retip service, but rather a trade in offer.  That would cost me $1,000, so not what I'm looking to do.   Thanks anyway.

I didn't think Grado provided this type of service.  I'll check with them.  Thanks.
JVC DLA-RS25 replacement bulb
Thanks.  I figured that was the case.  Guess I'll fork out the $360 and will probably be happy for another 3,000 hours or so.I had about 150 hours on the OEM bulb, so not terrible, although it never looked as good as the old bulb.  Seemed too dim.
Any Rhode Island audiophiles out there?
Just noticed this forum topic.  I’m in Newport most of the time.  I know of one other audiophile nearby.  My primary system is down in Mamaroneck NY (Vandersteen 2CE’s, REL B-1 sub, Rogue audio magnum, NYAL Moscode 600, Quad CDP-2, Luxman PD 441 t...
subwoofer, Vandersteen 2Wq tolerance
I have filters, the VDS 200K X-2's, but they were for a Moscode 600 amp, not my Hafler 200.  i guess they would be pretty ineffective for a bluetooth connection.
subwoofer, Vandersteen 2Wq tolerance
Richard says this wont work at all.  He says "This will not work as the high-pass must be used and the 2Wq must be driven by the same amp driving the main speakers".  So the bluetooth connection to the amp is the problem.

Thanks for the encouraging info.  I did leave a message for Richard V. so I'll see if he confirms all is OK.
Moscode contact info or Kaye Audio Labs
I've not been able to get a response from George Kaye in probably a couple of years now.  I know this is an old post, but it came to mind.
Vandersteen
I'll give you some more info about my set up.  I have a REL B-1 sub (still have the VDS 2wq and loved it, but it was nice to be able to use the REL for stereo and HTS).  Amp is Moscode 600, preamp is Rogue Magnum 66, CD player is Quad CDP-2, TT is...
