6000 dollars CD player
No... no... no... Don’t waste your money on any CD Player - none of which provide the sound quality of one of the better R2R DAC’s with a good CD transport. There is no CD player that comes close to the sound quality of the good R2R DAC’s - none o...
Speaker upgrade for classical music

What speaker – under $10k – has the best timbre and tonal qualities?
With your setup - Harbeth 40.2 would be superb and meet your expectations. They are outstanding with SS amps, like the Brystons. 2nd choice would be the Maggies, with REL subs, or Spatial Audio M3 Sapphire, X3 or X5.  You will be very pleased with...

Looking for a speaker for my LM 845 Premium
AN may well be a good option...But... you might also consider Proac, which mates well with LM amps.  And... the Spatial Audio line are very efficient speakers... and would likely be a good match, maybe better than the Proac speakers.  Open baffle ...
What speaker – under $10k – has the best timbre and tonal qualities?
Harbeth 40.2’s or 30.1’s, but you will need to drive them with a good SS amp - preferrably a Hegel. Though, I also drive mine with a $700 Class D Audio SDS 470C - and they sound about the same with it as the Hegel. Or... Spatial Audio M3 Saphire.....
Warm romantic & detailed
Definitely - the Harbeth 40.2's, or 30.1 or 30.2's will provide that type of sound with the right DAC, Preamp, Amp - such as the Hegel H360/H390/H590.  I've got both, and that is they type of sound I get with the H590.

DSP TO TAME THE BASS IN HARBETH SPEAKERS
I just integrated the DDRC-22D into my system and for my room, my limited ability to treat, and my configuration it was probably one of the best additions ever. It just “brought everything” together. I believe the ability to tweak the response c...

Roon... interesting... I've not used it and did not realize it has that feature.  That could be a quick and easy alternative, since my Bryston BDP-3 is Roon compatible.

Yes... Ralph... I will try some of your suggestions.  I have your M60's and have talked with you about upgrades - though, I think mine have the 3.3. upgrades.  I'll try the 16 ohm taps and maybe the 4 ohm taps to see if that makes a difference wit...

DSP TO TAME THE BASS IN HARBETH SPEAKERS
I guess I have a Behringer 24/96 Equalizer - I could try - its used with my Emerald Physics OB speakers.  Not sure it has the automated dsp, but it would allow me manual control.
DSP TO TAME THE BASS IN HARBETH SPEAKERS
Again... you need to see my other posts re: my system.  There is no problem with my Hegel H590 or Class D Audio SDS 470C amps, just my ARC Ref 150se.  So... it's not the room... its the amp.
