Totally Ridiculous....Auditions on YouTube!
+1 @ronboco  Agree completely. I would say (and do believe) that DIFFERENCES can be heard, but to ascribe a value to those said differences is sheer folly. Happy New Year to whole the damn gang! Regards, barts
Convincing your local dealer to let you try speakers at home
@hilde45  My greatest concern with a home demo is perception.  You obviously really like these speakers and I submit that they would have to sound pretty bad in your space for you to return them.  As many have stated above, pick up late Saturday ...

Stereophile Scamming Subscribers?
@clearthinker   I understood your point and I do like it from time to time,  it just gets to repetitive for me.  So, I take a break from it. The PS Audio DAC comment was totally tongue-in-cheek.  I'll bet it will be good, maybe very good.  Seems ...
Stereophile Scamming Subscribers?
By the time my subscription runs out I'm freakin' sick of reading it anyway, same old blather.  Can't wait to read the review (on-line) of the new PS Audio DAC as they just did a two page spread, pretty picture! So I let it run out and take a bre...
Has anyone been able to define well or measure differences between vinyl and digital?
I think the most amazing point is that LPs and CDs can sound amazingly close given the wildly different paths the signal must take! Regards, barts
What am I missing?
I still like CDs and have ~1k.  But the funnest thing about them is looking at the titles and picking one I had forgotten about and the memories, good or bad, of that time.  Nostalgia! Regards, barts
