| Question about Class A I’m using Pass Labs XA30.8 with Martin Logan Montis. Preamp is Pass XP-12. Incredible sound and never runs out of headroom no matter how hard I push it. Purity, dynamics and details in spades. I wouldn’t hesitate going with Pass Labs amplifiers. | |

| What phono cartridge is suited for metal and heavy rock? System and room dependent (check out my system for more details). In my set up I like Hana EL. I’ve been spinning Slayer and Metallica last few days. No complaints. Plenty dynamic and detailed. The EH (High Output) should also work. |
