Prioritizing Power Cable Upgrades by System Component.
@imaninatural  In my opinion the answer is - it depends.  A power cord upgrade on DAC can make just as significant improvement as the right power cord would on the amplifier. If your system is able to resolve the differences a power cord upgrades...
Good cost effective USB cables for digital audio please
+1 on DH Labs Mirage. It beat the wireworld, analysis plus and basic “stock” USB cables
Power Cord recommendations for a First Watt SIT3
@coachpoconnor just curious…you’re asking for a power cord recommendation and respond to your own post by saying you tried various power cords and you always come back to the stock cord. Can you list these power cords you tried with this amplifier...
Pass Labs INT-25 or equivalent in another brand
@ghdprentice know exactly what you mean.  I hate the break in but curiosity takes over and I just got to know what it sounds like before it settles. In case of Pass I do believe it will be fine. but I’ll defer the decision to the new lucky owner o...
Pass Labs INT-25 or equivalent in another brand
I wouldn’t worry about that too much. You can listen to it and hear it improve. It will be great from the moment you plug it in though…I’m pretty certain of that.

@travisg Congrats! Let us know how it sounds. @steveashe is right on with the note on warm up. It should sound great right out of the gate but give it 24hrs after the first day then about an hour thereafter to warm up. Pass amps are awesome and th...
Power Cord recommendations for a First Watt SIT3
What gauge is the stock cord supplied with the pass amp? If I’m not mistaking it’s a 14 gauge power cord and it is not bad. However, I have owned two Pass Labs amps and both benefitted from a power cord upgrade.  I used Shunyata Taipan Alpha Helix...
McCormack dna-1 upgrade or no
@teo_audio +1 on that suggestion. You got an amp that’ll compliment better speakers.
Power Cable Break In - Such a Change!
@ozzy  I put together two new power cords about a week ago using Furutech FP-S55N with FI-50 NCF and FP-S032N with FI-28(R). Going thru almost exactly the same nasty break in as you are experiencing with Audioquest.  The minute I plugged the new p...

Recommendations for automatic tonearm lift
@kenrus From what you’re describing it sounds like you should double check your antiskate, leveling of your table or both.
Upgrade platter/sub platter or cartridge on Rega p2?
With P2 keep in mind the cartridge height. There’s no VTA adjustment on that table. I had good luck with Hana EL. It seems to fit perfectly.
Recommendations for automatic tonearm lift
Say hello to my Little Fwend! Seriously…good stuff. I have it on my MoFi UltraDeck and love it. Easy to use just remember to press it down before you play a record.

@rpfmusicman yup I wouldn’t hold my breath but anything is possible. He might send you a replacement. The tone of his response doesn’t show a lot of concern for your situation though.

You did the right thing by posting here. Keep us in the loop on how this develops.  Hope Mikey will get back to you now and do the right thing.
