My turntable sounds like the speed is too slow
Playing a 45RPM record at 33 1/3?
Why is solid state more popular when tubes are better?

@emergingsoul have you arrived at this conclusion based on your personal experience? Would you mind sharing? What amps are we talking about?
Pass x260.8 v. Parasound JC1+?
XP22 with X260.8 sounds awesome here.
Pass x260.8 v. Parasound JC1+?
To me the Pass amps are about natural tone, midrange, dynamics and striking a balance between warmth and instrument separation and details. Midrange with Pass amps is ridiculous. The presentation is never analytical. If you’re looking for an amp t...
Need advice on what to purchase to hold 1TB of music and connect to my new Innuos Pulsar.
@grannyring I’m not 100% certain but you might be able to configure Innuous to read that Samsung SSD when it’s connected to a computer on the same network same way you would configure it to read NAS. I did this when I had Auralic Aries G1 and it w...
Shocking Lampizator Service
It’s not Lampizator customer service that’s impressive, but how many people have reported they had issues just on this thread alone. Good to know.
Nordost Tyr2 vs Valhalla1 Powercord
@joeyfed55 just wondering what power cords you have on your components. In my opinion, a pair of Tyr 2 power cords may be overkill powering the speakers. You’ll get cleaner bass without a doubt and probably some improvement with the panels. But a ...
Nordost Tyr2 vs Valhalla1 Powercord

First hand experience (stories about room treatment) needed
Unlike @jaytor my room is pretty small(15x13). Mike from GIK focused on bass traps and addressing the firs reflection points. All absorption. And it makes sense - the room is not large enough forbthd the diffusors to be effective. The bass traps I...
First hand experience (stories about room treatment) needed
I worked with Mike Major over at GIK Acoustics. I sent Mike the dimensions and pictures of my room and he provided a recommendation that was pretty much dead on. I just completed it yesterday by installing ceiling panels. Take a look at my system ...
My thermostat plays Jazz and I don't know what to think about that.
Excellent! I bet it sounds quiet warm now that your AC is fudged. Try some vibration control under the heat pump and let us know if you hear any improvement.
Heavy duty amp stand, Sonic benefits?
What’s turntable and cartridge got to do with a question about amplifier stands?
So how do these new bots make money?
Few examples… 1. Push certain products generating traffic to those websites  2. Collect responses and using artificial neural network machine learning, feed the collected data to analytical models to evolve and increase effectiveness so that the...
Heavy duty amp stand, Sonic benefits?
