How does bi-wiring work? The audioquest web page has an excellent tutorial on bi wiring. I use two separate pairs of type 4 to good effect.
Transport Recommendations Cyrus makes a good one, the Cyrus cdt. I’m loving mine, especially the deal I got on it from the music room. It takes up far less room than some of the others, which was important to me, as my allocated living room real estate Is limited by the wi...
Rogue Audio hard to resell, has it fallen out of favor ? @phd "You will own nothing and be happy" that is their greater plan for all of us.
Rogue Audio hard to resell, has it fallen out of favor ? I plan to round out my small collection of amps with the purchase of the rogue sphinx v3 or maybe a v4 version if/when available. I already own a class A, and a class AB amp, so it would be nice to own a class D with tubes. Plus I think the sphinx...

Sub $2,000 Integrated Amp Recommendations I'd go for that musical fidelity A1...that's one great amp, and class A. It should have no issue driving klipsch. There's a few very good reviews on YouTube, audiophiliac and the British audiophile.

What happens when the stylus tip wears out on a $12,000 cartridge? @elliottbnewcombjr I highly doubt, lets say, a denon dl 103 with a spherical/conical stylus is going to be considered worn out or near worn out at 150 hours.
What happens when the stylus tip wears out on a $12,000 cartridge? You can buy 10 or 12 very nice cartridges for the same money that would probably sound 90 to 95 percent as good. That way you have very many spares to last a lifetime. |
