Advice/Warnings for a newbie
I must be very gullible as I own the Niagara 1200 as well as many semi expensive AQ power chords. To me they have made a difference...a radical difference? NO! but a difference none the less in a decrease in the noise floor and or more of a silent... 
Are CD players goig the way of the 8 track,and the cassette?
I use mine daily, so NO...and I own 3 cd players and or transports, so i seriously doubt I’ll kill them all within my lifetime. So I will keep on spinin’ the silver disc....

There is a good video on youtube about the ability to pick the higher res source (mp3 and wave file were used). Pretty interesting.....A young lady was used as the listener and I would assume being young,  she had excellent hearing....in a few ins...

Mine sound just fine from where I sit....zero room treatment, just your average furnished room with both soft and reflective surfaces...I like my room and will not add UFO's to it....😁
