Sussurro Paua on JMW 10.5 arm - mini review Actusreus, I agree with you about the quality of the adele album. It's not one of my best LP's. I even returned two other copies before I got this third one that is decent at best. You are also correct about it being a digital master. I just menti...

Broken cantilever Need options... You won't be dissapointed in the work soundsmith does. They are very easy to contact and talk to someone. They also have a quick turnaround time.
Has anyone listened to the soundsmith Paua cart I was just going by what peter told me. He said the loading needs to be 1K ohm minimum and not to be more than 5K maximum. One review I have found said the reviewer preferred it at 2800 ohm which made it a bit brighter. My system is a bit bright s...

Twisting wire on VPI for anti skate? the twist is made with the connector. Unplug the tonearm lead wire from the junction box and rotate it 360 degrees and plug it back in. If a loop forms in the wire, straighten it back out. Hope that helps
Has anyone listened to the soundsmith Paua cart Lewm, I suppose I should have said I don't actually have it in my hands yet. Sorry for the confusion. I intend to post my thoughts of the cart when I actually get it setup and playing. I am going to follow peters advice on the loading. I was just ...

Remove your bias for better sound I have tried the VPI anti skating mechanism. I have also used the wire twist method. Harry states that very little AS force is needed for the 10.5 arm. I found that the VPI AS mechanism exerts too much force even at its lowest setting. I use 1 sin... |
