Question on my DAC
I finally got it to sample at 96KHZ after I found a "legacy" recording in Amazon. I wish these streaming services would be clearer on what exactly the sampling rate was. It doesn't appear there are many recordings above the 44.1 KHZ level. Comes a...
Question on my DAC
When I go to Amazon HD or Deezer, I see no indication as to what the sound quality should be. Is there a way to identify this on their app.?Thank you!
splitting a digital signal
Thank you all kindly for your responses! Based on feedback, I'm not inclined to try this. Even if it "kind" of works, just doesn't sound like an ideal way to go. I'm also guessing if it was something that worked well, I would have gotten the respo...
splitting a digital signal
Yes, that was my plan. Use coax for both simultaneously. I've been led to believe that coax is better quality than optical, but maybe that's not the case?
Recommendations for bookshelf speakers
I recently bought a pair of JL Labs Focal Aria 906 speakers and I really like the sound I'm getting. They are efficient and if you look you can get them for well under $1,000. They did take some time to break in though.

Considering switching to Tubes
I bought a used Research Audio VSI60 integrated  and love the sound. Good luck trying to zero in on something...Reading the reviews of all the different tube products can make your head spin.
Tubes or stick with S/S
I've been quite happy with my new (used) Audio Research VSI60 integrated.
Looking for an integrated tube amp under $2500
I found a used Audio Research VSI60 for 2K and couldn't be happier. Sound is fabulous and plenty of muscle to drive my speakers.
Affordable Streamer with great Internet Radio, Tidal, Android support?
Another vote here for Bluesound. I've had it for a year now and am very satisfied with music quality and ease of use with the app.
Do any of your Rolling Stones recordings bring "Satisfaction"?
I vote : "Get Your Ya-Ya's Out" as was mentioned by a previous poster.
BUY Bryston!!!!!
Awesome warranty, but the sound from 4BSST2 is stellar and worth the purchase as well.
Whats your take on a NAD 3020, I truly believe it defined stereo and still does!
I almost bought one when they were new on the market. The salesperson was really pushing it and I remember being impressed at my audition, but was reluctant because  the low wattage output.  My bad, wish I would have bought it...Guess my desire fo...
