Sub Decision I bought two Rythmik F12SE (GR-Research paper drivers) and I really think these fsub woofers added a fast bottom freq to my speakers. Good Luck!
Understanding MQA/tidal/ DA conversion No problem with Qobuz but I have tried Tidal MQA and with many recordings it sounds great, really great. But not all MQA recordings sound great. And as others have mentioned you must have a DAC to fully unfold the MQA file. That's kind of a pain. ...
Move from Parasound A23 to A21/A21+ or Something Else? The A21 is much, much better that the A23 and will drive your speakers... no problem. The A21+ is an upgrade for sure but not worth the extra cash IMO. The JC5 is in another league but still not dual mono . I like the advice by erik to try other a...
Upgraded McCormack DNA-1 or Dennis Had Inspire SEP? Not trying to interfere in your quest but I have a Line Magnetic tube amp I luv and if I were looking into another integrated tube amp that had awesome bang for the buck and gave me the ability to get warranty work in the USA I would look hard at ...
Does Anyone Buy Schiit for the Sake of Schiit? Yeah what I like to do is buy equipment for $50k and think it sounds 100 times better. I like to buy into hype. There is nothing more satisfying to me than to buy an audio system more expensive than my house and try to get someone over to listen w...
What about the floor? Take up golf for better sound.... hmmmm. What a great idea!
Ohm Walsh Talls (opinions sought) This guy really likes them. Might be a fresher perspective..
If money was and was not of any concern when buying speakers. A little bit different. The rest of the money to help house and feed people in need. https://voltiaudio.com/vittora/
Sad to say I need a new amp… Good news. Glad you found a solution to your amp problem!
BlueSound Stinks(!), anyone? I agree with all posters who say wired is the route to go. Unfortunately Bluesound has not really been successful at making these products "wireless" without many glitches. I have both the Node and Vault and they work great wired.
McIntosh -- good for show, not for sound, says dealer Kind of a silly statement. Mac makes great hi-fi. BTW the guy who posted this on youtube might be smoking bad weed. It happens.
Sad to say I need a new amp… I really like the Parasound A21. But if I were to buy another amp I might buy the Musical Fidelity M6 500i. An integrated amp but a very, very good dual mono design. A beast with finesse. I have heard it with Vandersteen speakers, just wonderfully...
What is an audiophile? Are you an audiophile? Yes, yes I think emaillists has it right. I do agree with what he said completely. My grandfather had lots of vacuum tubes and now I have a tube amp. I NEVER imagined that listing to music through those glass bottles piped into speakers would brin...
Buying used vs new speakers from a technology perspective I think you have to listen to the speaker, whether it is old or new, and let your individual ears (not others) decide what sounds good to YOU! Who cares about the technology? my two cents
Speaker positioning: why do audiophiles neglect this so much? I guess my feeling is that for many of the people with pictures here on AG it MAY be that they don't work on the room that much. But OTH for those who have their systems in a family area there often is a WAF (wife acceptance factor) issue or also ... |
