Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO

Bach, St John Passion, conducted by Helmuth Rilling.

Today is the 300 year anniversary of its first performance:  Good Friday, 1724 in Leipzig

Wings-London Town Side 2

Johnnie Taylor-Lover Boy Side 1

Dave Valentin-In Love's Time Side 1 SQ Audiophile

The Knack-Round Trip Side 2(Back on label)

Judy Collins-Living Side 1

Bach/Scarlatti-Baltazar Benitez(Nonesuch H 71404) Side 2

White Lion-Big Game Side 1

Patti Austin-Body Language Side 1 Audiophile

Only White Lion was previously played. Power quality was an issue tonight, so no near misses SQ*(not sure). Can't award an SQ crown tonight but Patti/Valentin clearly had the best SQ of the 8 recordings. London Town might be 2nd best(in content} of all Wings studio recordings. If you enjoy power/pop don't dismiss Round Trip.
