Martin Logan on it's side for center channel ??

since the speaker does not have separate tweeter and mids can I use a full size Ethos on it’s side for a center in HT. I have 13a’s for LR and a ESL c for center but the center is too small ,  The Ethos panel is 3.5 x the size of the ESL center so would match the 13a's better

ML has made at least 2 center channels. I suggest that is a better option,or perhaps a Focal center.

If you have a small listening area, and conventional TV (65" for instance) a center may not even do  you that much good.

No. I am sure that will not work well. The floor stander was made to stand.

As @erik_squires pointed out Martin Logan makes several center channels.

+1. I had a floor stander that matched my L and R speakers so they all matched as a center channel for years. Try it that way and see if you like it. That is how they do it in the studios, matching L-C-R.

Those dedicated CC speakers are only shaped like that for people that stick it under a TV.

Yeah, but it depends on the height of the screen.

has anyone tried this , or just going by how traditional floorstanders react on their side ? Logans don't have 4 or 5 drivers in a line , just 1 panel for mids and highs
