Issue with Mc MA 5200 Amp Klipsch H. shutting down...STILL!

Mc MA5200 for Klipsch Heresy???...why does this continue to shut off after 20-30 minutes playing...rest of the system is fine...never gets pushed to hard...

the rest is old NAD for old Bose Satellites/and Sonus, Mc Preamp, Rega CD and Turntable...tried  'rebooting' the 5200 and no difference...should I take it in ?...very little play time and really frustrating...recommendations for SJ area for repair??... Thanks in advance...

How old are the speakers?   Able to try another pair of speakers?    Check across the speaker terminals for even the finest strand of wire touching across terminals on both speaker end and amp end.   I would borrow a small pair of speakers with a benign load if you don't have a pair handy.  That problem screams short somewhere , speaker , wire  hopefully something easy to troubleshoot and repair

If you have a volt meter you can find the static impedance for the drivers in Klipsch speakers if so inclined you can measure across each driver to make sure you don't have a bad voice coil.  If its the speaker's  they are easy and cheap to fix

Good luck

There must be something wrong with the amp. Those speakers would never make demands that would shut it down. Look up authorized service in your area. By SJ do you mean South Jersey? If so, when I lived there before moving to Arizona 10 years ago, i used Brandywine Electronics, and can recommend them.

Thanks guys...will try other speakers...a pro shop made the connections...they play absolutely beautifully for about 30 mins...then Amp shuts...I'm in CA, SJ area is probably closest...

Yes, DO try the amp with other new speakers and other speaker cables/connectors. The amp might be trying to tell you something.
