What's the point? Unless you have a lot of room for something imposing like that, you would do better with sanely sized quality powered subwoofers. I think that they also need a separate external crossover. There's a reason why the price is cheap...

It’s your decision, and it sounds like you really want them. Just remember, there is a lot of math and engineering that goes into designing speakers that work well together. You may drive yourself crazy trying to find an external crossover and mid/high frequency drivers that work well together. If you don’t find them, they’ll just be a couple more things sitting in your garage gathering dust. Just something to think about... |
@tonykay makes an excellent point regarding integrating these. And the IRS don't happen to be my flavor, but obviously few others have match their awe factor. Still, I would go for it. I can't see getting another opportunity to buy two towers, each with 6 X 15" woofers and amplification for $600. Regardless of how it plays out, it will assuredly scratch your itch for thunder down under |
