Wireless Subwoofer

Will I notice a big difference between wireless and wired ? Looking at Paradigm x15 and svs sb 3000 pairs for stereo.

Yes there is a huge difference. Wireless almost completely eliminates trip hazard.

I use wireless to cut timing off - to send only data.  That way anything on computer side (speed, amount of RAM, playback program etc.) doesn't matter.  I had bad experience with 2.4GHz mostly because each channel is 3.5 channel wide, so in reality there are only 3 independent channels and my microwave was on one of them.  With 5GHz no problems.  Not only many more channels, but also higher frequency penetrates walls poorly blocking signal form the neighbors.
Be aware that there is always some delay - few seconds with my Airport Express, so it might be hard to make subwoofer alone on the wireless.

I don't know that you'll hear a difference, so much as not be happy with the connection.

If you are in an apartment with lots of nearby neighbors 2.4 GHz channels are already congested. If you are in a home with lots of distance between yourself and the neighbors' Wifi routers you should do better.

My own historical experience with 2.4 GHz type of systems has always been poor.
