Thanks everyone. A couple of follow-up questions:
1: If I make my own, is soldered always better that screwed? I think the Schaffner locking terminals -as well as IEC-LOCK locking terminals- are solder-free. The DesignCable "Audiophile" versions seem to use the Schaffner terminals (LINK BELOW). Don't know if these "Audiohile" cables are any beter than normal cables, or whether the Schaffner terminals are any better than any other terminals though.
2: Any info on which terminals/brands would be good? The same applies to the cable.
3: Finally, the perhaps provocative - but unfortunately necessary - question: Why would anyone pay 3K for a power cable, if you can make one for less than 100€? What's the catch? Is there any?
