Why it is so difficult to find a hifi power cables from IEC-C14 to IEC-C13 terminal?

Thanks everyone. A couple of follow-up questions:

1: If I make my own, is soldered always better that screwed? I think the Schaffner locking terminals -as well as IEC-LOCK locking terminals- are solder-free. The DesignCable "Audiophile" versions seem to use the Schaffner terminals (LINK BELOW). Don't know if these "Audiohile" cables are any beter than normal cables, or whether the Schaffner terminals are any better than any other terminals though. 

2: Any info on which terminals/brands would be good? The same applies to the cable.

3: Finally, the perhaps provocative - but unfortunately necessary - question: Why would anyone pay 3K for a power cable, if you can make one for less than 100€? What's the catch? Is there any?

If you use good quality connectors and solder, it will probably be better than the so called high end stuff.

You can find them, but they are more difficult to obtain.  However, as mentioned, you can just cut off the end of one cable that you like, but doesn’t fit, and solder on the end that you need.

Thank for your response. Yes Europe, but I've searched all over the world. Standard C13 to C14 is easily available, but I haven't found too many hifi versions. And none with angled C13, which I need for 4 devices. Where do you recommend I should look?

Since you brouht up making your own, yes, that is the best answer.  

But I wonder where you are shopping.  the standard C14 cable is very available everywhere I've shopped.  are you in europe?
