Pete Townsend - Happy 80th!

The Who - in honor of Pete Townshend’s 80th birthday.  More common with classic rockers that have made it this far.  Robin Trower 80 this year.  Seeing him finally next month but passing on the latest Who retirement tour.  I’ve been going since they started retiring in 1980.  I might if it was somewhere other than Fenway Park.  Worst place for a concert.  So many obstructed view seats and seats that face the wrong way.  Terrible acoustics and the facilities are a joke.  To top it off the parking is expensive and you can’t tailgate.  Oh well, glad I saw them one last time in Quebec and happy birthday Pete!

re/ guitarists please permit me to mention the late Terry Kath of Chicago. it is my understanding his work is well regarded by those who know more of such things than myself . some have even compared him to Jimmy Hendrix .
