@bslon I believe it's the original 1973 PP&F release and they changed it a year later. My copy vinyl is NM and unlike the hot-linked discogs image above, has a NM cover.

@noromance Nice to see a fellow Al Stewart fan around here. I’d never seen that cover art on PP&F. Cool!
|
@bkeske Yeah, tonight’s album has a big in-your-face sound. I’ve been messing around swapping cartridges on system 2. The Decca Gold trounced the AT750SH. Apart from simply way better bass, the most interesting standout was vocal intelligibility.

@noromance
Gotta get some Strawbs in my collection

Rare Silk-New Weave Side A
ELO-A New World Record Side 2
Freddie Hubbard-Sweet Return Side 2 SQ Audiophile
Mott The Hopple-Live Side 1
The Who-Who's Next(Decca 1971 pressing) Side 2
Rachmaninoff-Symphony No.2(RCA-ARL-1-1150) Side A
Europe-Out Of This World Side 2
Hank Williams Jr.-High Notes Side 1
Hubbard-Not only a solid Audiophile SQ recording but with 5* content. High Notes is one of the best pure country recordings of the 1980's. Mott a somewhat overlooked very strong 1970's live recording, SQ is decent. New Weave is a 5* jazz fusion album and one of my favorites in this genre.
