@slaw - Question for you: Can you clean your records and listen at the same time? I've heard that ultrasonic cleaners are very loud and cannot be used near the listening area due to excessive noise. Just curious, as I may investigate an ultrasonic cleaner, however it would need to be in/near my listening area. Not sure it would work for me.
Tom, It just happens that I own two CDs of BHT&TM. "Sister Sweetly" & "Beautiful World" which has the song Crazy Mary on it. Check it out man.
My Vibrato is Sooooo quiet. With all of my experience with US cleaners, the Vibrato really surprised me upon first turning it on. So quiet.... I wondered if it's actually working/working well enough to actually clean?
@slaw - I have been fading from vinyl listening a bit. Busy with work, family life and cycling. Trying to ride 2000 miles this summer. Haven't done that in many years. Plus, I've already been through my entire collection over the winter during "the big cull". Got to get some new records......
Desirable? No, doesn’t look like it. Even in mint condition those are selling between $5-$10 for a 3 recorded set. Not rated highly either. But, that’s subjective, but could be it was a poor recording or pressing as much as anything else.
I’m not a huge opera fan, have some, and enjoy it....at times, but not something I have heard or have in my collection.
The problem with collections like that is that they are individual performances, and not the whole/complete opera. Most, as I, prefer the whole symphony, or opera, composition, etc.
